There is no doubt that cycling is the perfect way to get around. Not only does it save money and have a lower impact on the environment, but it is also a great way to get fit and healthy too. In fact, e-bikes and standard bikes have become so popular of late that more and more gadgets, add ons and tools are coming out for people to buy. All of these are designed to help cyclists, to make cycling even more enjoyable and also to ensure that they are safe whilst they are out on their bikes.
So, with this in mind we decided to put together the top 4 gadgets that we think that every e-biker needs.
Top quality lights
One thing that you should never overlook when you ride an e-bike, is the importance of proper lighting. Lights are what not only illuminate your way but also make sure that you can be seen when you are in lower light.
If there is one gadget that you invest in then it needs to be lighting. There are a variety of amazing lights out there for you to choose from, one of the best names out there are Lezyne and Exposure.
Some rather impressive gloves
Cycling gloves are a must have when it comes to making sure that you have the best grip (and that your hands don’t get too sore and beaten up whilst you are on your bike). However, you can take the standard gloves a little further and take a look at Turn Signal Gloves. These are made by companies such as Zackees and they will light up as you signal your turn using a range of LED arrow shaped lights. These gloves are usually battery powered and will help to ensure that everyone knows where you are going even in the night-time.

A GoPro
You don’t have to be an adventurer to feel the benefit of having a GoPro on your helmet. Even those who mainly use their e-bike to commute should invest in this bit of kit. The main reason for this is to keep you protected when you are out on the open road, especially against others out there who maybe cars, vans or even pedestrians and other bikers.
A crash sensor
It might sound like a bit of a scary thought, but having a way to ensure that your emergency contact is notified that you have crashed whilst out on your e-bike is a great idea. There are some crash sensors out there that you can buy, such as the ICEdot Crash Sensor. These are small devices which can be attached to your helmet, should you then be involved in a crash then an alarm will sound and then if the alarm is not deactivated, an emergency message will be sent to your chosen contact with your location included.

These are just a few of the gadgets that you can buy or your e-bike and make sure that you are safe, comfortable and that you can be seen!
